For several months, the DesignSingapore Council team engaged designers and partners across the ecosystem as part of the development of Design Masterplan 2035. These engagements were intended not just to gather feedback, but to support a more participatory and co creation led approach to shaping the Masterplan.

Dear Designer was one of the key industry engagement. The session brought together over 500 designers and creatives to reflect on the future of design in Singapore. Beyond the formal discussions on stage, the session surfaced a wide range of perspectives shared informally throughout the afternoon. These included candid reflections on lived experiences, differing views on the role of design, and strong convictions about where the sector could and should head.
